Very dissapointing. I thought I'd be in the main house but instead I was lead to 3 chalets out the back. Television only has 4 channels and even they suffer with constant interference. The walls had dust on them that needed a flicker or swipe with a duster. The walls are extremely thin. I could hear everything that my neighbours were doing and I wasn't happy being woken at 5.25am listening to my neighbours every move in the toilet. I have good local knowledge but most visitors won't realise just how close you are to the runway so from 6am you will constantly have aircraft noise so don't expect a lye in. There is no storage space to hang anything up so if a lady had dresses she'd be forced to keep them in her suitcase?! I had to keep my clothes/case on the floor as no higher surface to rest it on. I so wanted to like this hotel instead of giving my money to the well known chain hotels all the time but this experience underlines why I stay at the well known chain hotels. Yes they can be boring but they give the customer what the customer requires. A peaceful sleep, no noise from the room next door and a fully working television. Definately won't return.
Absolutely stunning place. If only i had decided to stay overnight before booking the carpark with the holiday extras. Very friendly peaceful and great value for money.
I stayed in 4 other hotels in the area for business over the last 6 weeks - this one is by far far better than all others put together and I only hope it stays that way! Superb service, impecable cleanliness and very very tasty breakfasts! Will return with great pleasure! Thank you!
Good Price, nice room and friendly staff. Perfect last night before heading to the airport. The breakfast included was also good.
Very close to Gatwick so therefore an excellent stopover hotel. Expect some plane noise but not during the night. Spotlessly clean, modern room. Lovely family room. Helpful and polite staff. Great breakfast. Altogether an excellent place, I can recommend it.
