Found this an easy place to locate despite other reviews saying GPS can't locate. I used a Tom Tom GPS. The check in man was quick and efficient against previous reviews saying often not attended. Yes will be times as they operate limited staffing and the desk attendant may need to leave to attend to a problem. The breakfast room is a little dated in decor but the food is good and free also has a cooked to order hot section.Parking is free and seemed secure again despite what other reviews said. Plenty of eating options only a short drive away. Ideal base to visit events at UK's premier Equestrian Centre Hickstead.
The location for Gatwick Airport is fantastic. The staff were friendly & helpful. The rooms were basic & clean. However... If you stay in room 101, don't shut the bathroom door, as you can't open it from inside the bathroom. I got stuck and my girlfriend had to save me. Also, there weren't enough plug sockets in the room. Not for our things, for the actual things that were already in the room. If you wanted to have the alarm clock plugged in, you had to unplug either the kettle or the 12 inch TV...
