Great sports bar, lovely bar staff and nice atmosphere. Was really awkward over the world cup tho... we had been to watch every England game at the bar and where asked to move off a table that we specifically asked to book provisionally with no issue. We arrived on the day were told it was booked by somone else who hadn't been coming to the bar regularly like us, even though we were told it was booked by us like the 3 previous games we watched with no issues whatsoever. This was down to one of the managers being friends with the person that supposedly paid a deposit. It was quite clear no deposit was paid. It was less down to customer service and actually just doing his mate a favour. Apart from this bad experience and lack of customer loyallity its a great place to chill watch sports events and highly recommend it. The staff are very nice :)
Very nice place! The staff was very friendly and very helpful (I had a flight delay, so there were many people to help). Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Recommended
The room is fine. Got given a refund for my meal last night as it came 15 minutes after my family which was three people. At 11pm I was just about to fall asleep when the room started to leak from the room above. It was coming down quick. They then made us move rooms. It was freezing in the room. The heater didn't work. Phoned for another one when that one didn't work but the second did. Had barely any sleep. I have a 12 hour flight to go on now. Miserable. AVOID!!
Easy access to this well appointed and recently refitted hotel close to airport and mainline train. Dining and bar A1. Friendly and efficient service. Perfect for business or pre/post flight plus a great sports bar!
Very good experience! Such an upgrade from when this was a Ramada! Everything in the room was great and the food was nice too. Breakfast was a slightly disappointing, the food was good, but they was never enough for demand. It also took until the end of my breakfast to get tea or coffee! If breakfast was spot on then it would have been 5 stars.
