Nice rooms, excellent in house evening meal. Taxi prompt at picking up. Lost one star as on return no car keys, fortunately a lady turned up, but even she had to search for them. No real delay but slightly worrying none the less.Gave us 4 days notice of booking cancellation. Transferred to another place in same group that we had used and found awfulApparently change of ownership. Book at your own peril

A great little place to stay and park your car when flying from Gatwick. Delicious home cooked food and the rooms are of a very good standard. Have stayed here before prior to an early morning flight. Unfortunately no food available on Saturday evenings, however lots of gastro pubs and restaurants a short drive away. Will definitely use this hotel again if flying from Gatwick.
If you are staying in the Crawley area and you don't want to use a chain hotel, this place is well worth a visit. With plenty of on-site parking, a hearty breakfast and the option of an evening meal, it makes a pleasant change to larger hotels. The room rates are cheap - too cheap if I'm being honest. The owners could charge much more for a hotel with such close proximity to Gatwick. And if you are flying out of Gatwick you can arrange to leave your car there (at cost) and the owners will arrange your airport transfer for you.
When flying from Gatwick, my wife and I normally stay at the Waterhall. It's far more pleasant than a chain hotel and is located in the country very close to the airport. Due to its close proximity, you can hear the planes taking off and landing, but that has never been an issue for us. The breakfast is very good value as are the dinners. Highly recommended.
