Place is a joke. Message on the phone goes on for ten minutes before you even talk to anyone then it cuts out. Talking a load of rubbish.
Had telephone call today from Dr Morgan regarding medicine review for my 86yr old and blind father. This was arranged by the receptionist 2weeks ago. I live in Kent and told the staff that the phone call should be before 12 noon. This is because my father has no concept of day or night so the phone call would be taken by me whilst I am there on a Thursday morning. The phone call came through to me at 2.20pm (I'm now in Kent). she would not discuss my father's medication with me. I tried to say that my father cannot read his medication, but she just kept talking over me. Also she said that he needed a blood pressure check. I explained that my father is housebound but she was very unsympathetic when I told her that dad is not safe on his legs to go outside. Her response was that if he can walk around his house (very limited) he can get in a car to the surgery!!!. I found her very rude and unhelpful.I wonder if I will get a response
Its really difficult to get an appointment! You need to start call exactly from 8:29am and if you're really lucky after been hold in a queue for a while you can get an appointment!
I have had extremely positive experiences with this surgery. When I attend an appointment the doctors are courteous, empathetic and actually attempt to understand the root of the problem rather than send me away to come back another day. After dealing with the GPs at Coachman's drive, this is a breath of fresh air.
Currently impossible for me to get an appointment. I haven't been able to book anything in advance (despite trying for at least a month now, are they just *not* taking advance appointments anymore?), and because I work full time in Horsham and am reliant on public transport, I can't really book one on the day (I start work at 8:30 and can't really hang around on hold for half an hour).Edit: they got a lot better recently. Dr. Olivier has been really helpful. Still very busy, but not as impossible to get an appointment. You do just need to be on the ball and call when the line opens at 8.30.
