One of the better practices, however it is impossible to get an appointment on the day by calling up. The phones are instantly engaged as soon as they open the lines and the only way I have been able to get an appointment is by physically going to the surgery at 8.30am - Which is almost impossible for me. My suggestion to the surgery is to invest in a better phone system where it will allow you to connect but place you in a que so you are not having to redial for half an hour only to find all the appointments gone. Having to spend a bit of money on a better system would more than pay for itself by causing less stress for people, and that means happier patients, and a happier receptionist. Most of the staff here are decent, Dr Leung is exceptional and one of the best doctors I have seen. Thanks to him I have finally identified an issue I have had for over 20 years, having seen at least half a dozen different doctors and consultants, Dr Leung is THE ONLY one who has managed to help me.
Drs fine but getting appointment takes 2 weeks (if they have one). Emergency appointments limited and hard to get. Awful but pretty normal from the NHS these days.
Not too bad a surgery, I have a few hiccups from time to time getting new medications dispensed when Doctors from other places request that they are given, but when you do bring it to light, the front of house team are pretty efficient in trying to get things done & they do genuinely want to help , the ladies on the desk are always polite despite what they face & I think that's quite hard to do given how rude some people can be to them, Judith the practice manager is also nice & Has helped me out a few times even when I've been a little demanding, I think given the way the NHS is nowadays it's probably a little naive to expect any surgery to be & a 5 star experience especially under the constraints most surgeries are under, but when I am seen I've always felt pretty confident that I'm being looked after by a competent DR which is the primary factor when it comes down to it! ......
Although appointments do take a while, there are usually emergency appointments available. I have been a patient of this practice for about eighteen years. The care I have received is second to none. Everyone at the practice are happy to go out of their way to help, nothing is too much trouble.
Not possible to get an appointment absolute joke better of going privateMy daughter just sat after booking in for 30 minutes waiting for her appointment , when she decided to go and ask why its taking so long they said oh there is no nurse today shes gone home sick! How about telling the patient rather than leave them sitting waiting ???
