For the third time I have checked K2 swimming timetable online for opening hours only to find when I got there a gala swimming event on or some other issue, I have filled a complaint form at the venue but no reply a week later, staff said it may not yet be processed, there must be a back log ??I cannot fault the venue or the front line staff,so that leaves the ones in the back room the staffers, doesnt inspire confidence especially after recently taken over the business.
A great sporting venue. We were very impressed (unlike a well known snooker player). Not sure what he was on!
Great facilities inside and out. They didn't seem to have many food options in the restaurant when we were there on a Saturday, for a competition, though, which seems like a missed opportunity. Would recommend otherwise
Good lesiure center. Has all the activities you would expect, and a few more unusual. There is a nice cafe which has a good selection of food and drinks. The pool is of a good size and has a great splash zone for the kids. The place was clean and in a good order and the staff were friendly.
Would have been one star but the lifeguards around the pool were great with information friendly to approach. When we first arrived we were served by a woman who I can only guess does not like her job, I asked for two adults and a baby swimming. She give us bands and took our money fine... I then asked her about swimming lessons (for my baby) the most information I got was look online at the time table... nothing else! Great job promoting.We continued on, the changing rooms are really cold, even on a hot day you feel cold in there... We went to enter the kids pool to be told it is shut at the moment as too many people are in there!! No communication to the front desk... we ended up stood there for 13 minutes trying to keep our little one warm... not good at all. I could list so much more that I was not happy with but that was the main thing... pool wasn't too cold for our 6 month old we stayed there for a good 40 minutes in the pool. They do need heaters for the changing room. Not fair on little ones, she was cold getting changed. For the amount of profit they made last year you'd expect the cleaning to be better.
